Something that continues to blow my mind. Every. Single. Day.

We may never see eye to eye, colorwise. We might be seeing entirely different colors. If my whole life I learned the color red is what to you is green, I'd still call it red and you'd call it red, and there is no way to describe which color is which. You can't just say "it's the color of a rose", because you might see green roses.

How do I describe a color?

Just another awesome street art scene painted by my favorite street artist, Banksy.

Please watch this video.
This is one of the most inspiring videos I've ever watched. A young motorcyclist gets trapped under a burning car, when witnesses intervene to save him. Despite the fact that there's fire and that they might get hurt, they all put aside their concerns and help push the car. As a young women then looks underneath the car and points out he's still breathing, more people rush to his aid and eventually the drag him out from underneath. He is in an ICU (Intensive Care Unit) and is recovering-- with minor injuries compared to what he would have had if they ignored the situation. He might have died, and for one outstanding moment, people got together and saved his life. I couldn't help but smile as I watched more and more people rush to the scene to help. Turns out that the world isn't so bad.

Today at school we joked and had as much fun and learning as we usually do, but today was an especially good day for me. Today after school was Band Practice, and I got a dose of music and awesomeness. It was an uplifting experience, and made my day special. Hope your day was as special as mine.

Good Night,

September 12th, 2011

Sigh. Another year of school. This year we are not freshmen but we are sophomores. We are high class Shalhevet students who are respected as well as admired. (Not to say that the freshmen aren't). Now we are faced with more pressure to do well, and to exceed in co-curriculars. Which co-curriculars should you take? Who should you hang out with? How will you balance friends, home, AND school?
DON'T WORRY. YOU'LL BE FINE! Just be a bit cautious, and I'm sure you'll accomplish everything you want to. Hurrah for a great year.
Sooo. What to talk about? Nothing big has happened yet this year, but I'll keep you posted.
Questions? Concerns? Comments? Let me know!
